Does my ribbon have to be perfect?

No! You can keep this as simple as you like, or go all out and make a really elaborate piece of art. Aslong as it's recognisable in the shape - it's fine!

Where do I send the link to my activity?

We will email all participants with details on how to do this closer to the event date.

Where does my entry fee go?

Part of the entry fee is used to cover the cost of medals, postage and Paypal fees. The remainder is passed onto Macmillan Cancer Support, we keep none of it. After the event the total donated will be posted on the website.

Why those dates?

On the 15th May 2017 I was diagnosed with advanced bladder cancer, with a prognosis of 1 year. This event is timed to fall on the 1 year anniversary of being told I have 1 year to live.

I have moved house since entering, will I get my medal?

No problem, just use the contact us form below to let us know, be sure to let us know the email address used for the paypal payment and your old address.

Can I walk the 5K?

Of course! You can run, walk or jog it! Aslong as you cover the distance and create the art, that's fine!

What is the medal like?

The medal is a bespoke design as seen below, the design is on a silicone medal. We have chosen silicone as this reduced our costs by approx £170 in comparison to metal - funds we would much prefer went to Macmillan instead!

Do I have to use Strava?

No, you can use any service that lets you track your run/walk and view it on a map afterwards. You will find plenty of alternatives to Strava which have this functionality.
